Chemical and Biochemical Connections Event
May 10th, 2018 | 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
at the Fogolar Furlan Windsor – Dante Costa Hall

Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry cordially invites you to join us for the second annual Chemical and Biochemical Connections Event, ChemiConn 2018, to be held in the Dante Costa Hall at the Fogolar Furlan Windsor. This event offers you the opportunity to connect with several chemical and biochemical companies from across North America, as well as to learn about their expertise and challenges in industry.

Lab groups interested in attending are requested to present a 3 – 5 minute talk showcasing specific techniques used in their respective research projects. Presentations should highlight the relevance of these techniques to industry, with hopes of stimulating collaboration.

Program Highlights:
1) Companies in chemical and biochemical industry will discuss R&D as well as challenges industry present.
2) Funding agencies will present various funding streams available for collaborative projects between industry and academia.
3) A networking session and mixer to form connections between researchers and potential future employers.
